ENAD presents Robotana, the story of which has once again been developed in ENAD's indigenous workshop. The theme of this drama is one that is very familiar to us. It depicts the simplicity of the common people and the duplicity of the ruling clique. ENAD presents this sensitive story with consummate use of original scores and choreography for the entertainment of the viewers. Sonamati is an island and a union territory of Larkeshpur mainland. The island is inflicted by an epidemic and a subversive terrorist movement. The mainland government is considering several options (that only focuses on benefits of the capitalist society and the ruling coterie) to control the epidemic and decimate the terrorist movement. A free-lance scientist in Sonamati creates a robot which has the gift of making things happen with her songs. A battle ensues among the vested interests to use the robot as a puppet to engineer achieving their goals. This results in twists and turns of events leading to a seemingly patent end to a not so familiar story. The play is staged with lots of color, songs and dances, and promises to be an absolute feast for the eyes of both adults and children. Please click here for colorful flyer.
