EXTERNAL FEEDBACK

Paagla Ghoda

A Bengali play by Badal Sircar, 4th November, 2000

1. Good for first production.
2. Quite slow and serious.
3. Disciplined production.
4. Malati-Mili-Lachhmi transition not apparent from acting, looks like the same person coming back.
5. It is understood that the team invested a lot of efforts.
6. Should have given more details of the storyline in the flyer.
7. Satu’s acting was strong but looked a little apathetic.
8. Intensity (movement) was less, static - there is liveliness in the female castbut absent in other casts - they are more cerebral, that can be OK.
9. Transition slow, tempo was lost.
10. Everybody got into the character more or less.
11. Lachhmi over-acted slightly.
12. Malati’s transformation was not well understood.
13. Men acted in under-tone - which is OK.  No overacting.
