A very contemporary subject handled sensitively. Overall an wonderful production.

* The play was largely free of needless melodrama, so it was striking when the melodrama factor did increase somewhat in the second half, with Nikhil's breakdown. * The ambiguity was excellent -- it allowed us to focus more closely on the characters, without having the play turn into a mystery ("Where In The World is Baba?" -- cue music). * Acting generally great all around. * Excellent sets, though the right side of the stage was a bit overused.

Excellent production. Best production ever done by ENAD. Would love to see similar plays in future. Set, light, music was great.

THANK YOU very much for all of your hard work.....the play "Collage Torn" was well-appreciated. I think that what you all are doing is contributing in a unique way to the Bengali community. The issues that the play dealt with are relevant and topical to this community and in these times. Your efforts in raising questions for people to discuss and think about were successful.

I liked the story, the thought behind and the message it conveyed to the audience. It was very realistic specially the life in US, the thoughts of contemporary society was well-put.

This is the best drama I have seen in the Bay area. Excellent script. Inclusion of Ram Jyatha was very well imagined. Lighting was elaborate and probably it was not necessary. Very good acting from almost everybody. Special mention to Sajid Bhai, Jhumur, Ram Jyatha. Nikhil had more scope - his posture could be improved. Nandini ported very realistic character and the actress did a very good job. Execution of last scene was very good. A few highly emotional moments to remember: Sajid bhai bringing food to N&N, Jhumur trying to settle disputes between brothers and the last scene. Music design was very creative and appropriate.

- Matured a lot (saw all of your production). No more like an ameteur team - Very smart production - Very well thought-out set-and-light. Subtlety in thinking. - Music quality has deteriorated. Somethimes seemed thoughtless. Why so much use of "laalpahari"? - Script lacked lyricism and subtlety. Too direct. - Acting was very good. Special mention of Sajid, Nandini and Nikhil for good acting. Jhimli seemed to be in discomfort on stage. - More realism (didn't like when Nikhil called Sajid Bhai, keeping baba waiting).

As an effort it is commendable. The story and script are good. But the second half of the play some how did not sound easy flowing . It seemed lot of incidents and dialogues overburdened the flow. Very good acting by Sajid-bhai, Rita and Partha. Nikhil was good but there were some problems. The emotions were carried over scene to scene.
