EXTERNAL FEEDBACK

Ballabhpurer Rupkatha

A Bengali play by Badal Sircar, 23rd June, 2001

Arnab Chatterjee

Direction - design and execution of the complete play was overall good! Administrative (hall/stage/production management, tickets, schedule, parking, souvenir etc.) was good! I would like to see a drama based on some more contemporaneous issues, e.g. say, a storyline based on the young IT pros who arrive in this Valley on the H-1 visas to seek their fortunes.

Lights: A few places lights was not synchronized - it was on the dimmer side
Music: Sanai was too long. More frequent music, less duration. Needed more attention.
Set: Was good
Pace went down for ~10 minutes after half-time.
Faster paced drama.

Excellent production - I am very impressed.  The thing that I liked most is the timeliness.

Soma Sarkar

Everything was perfect. No moment of boredom.  Everybody’s acting was strong.

We enjoyed the drama a lot on Saturday.  You all did a fantastic job, very well prepared and delivered.  Great job.

We should mention that the play in a whole was just excellent. We're impressed to see the quality of acting by local members, including the direction, design, schedule, souvenir, etc.  The production was as well appreciable. Keep it up and hope to see more in near future.
